Some people choose to mock me for kissing my dad on the lips at 19 years old.
Guess what. I kiss my dad goodnight because I’m the only person who ever does. I kiss him goodbye always aware it could be the last time I ever see him. He needs to know someone loves him. I’m likely the only one who will kiss him for the rest of his life. On his deathbed I’ll kiss him goodnight just as I always have.
